Supported employment: A catalyst for service development
KARE is a not-for-profit parents’ organisation in County Kildare, Ireland, which provides services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. We currently provide services for approximately 400 individuals divided equally between children and adults. The organisation has been in existence for 30 years and from the outset, the ethos has always been to support families and ...
متن کاملNovel Ca-doped CePO4 supported ruthenium catalyst with superior catalytic performance for aerobic oxidation of alcohols.
Ca-doped cerium phosphate (CeCaPO(4)) has been newly developed and successfully used as catalyst support with superior ion-exchanged property and oxygen activation ability. Ru(3+) exchanged CeCaPO(4) is identified as an efficient catalyst for aerobic oxidation of alcohols with the highest TOF (∼408 h(-1)) reported so far on supported Ru catalysts.
متن کاملRuthenium(0) nanoparticles supported on xonotlite nanowire: a long-lived catalyst for hydrolytic dehydrogenation of ammonia-borane.
Ruthenium(0) nanoparticles supported on xonotlite nanowire (Ru(0)@X-NW) were prepared by the ion exchange of Ru(3+) ions with Ca(2+) ions in the lattice of xonotlite nanowire followed by their reduction with sodium borohydride in aqueous solution at room temperature. Ru(0)@X-NW were characterized by a combination of advanced analytical techniques. The results show that (i) highly dispersed ruth...
متن کاملNovel ruthenium-catalyst for hydroesterification of olefins with formates.
An alternative ruthenium-based catalyst for the hydroesterification of olefins with formates is reported. The good activity of our system is ensured by the use of a bidentate P,N-ligand and ruthenium dodecacarbonyl. A range of formates can be used for selective alkoxycarbonylation of aromatic olefins. In addition, the synthesis of selected aliphatic esters is realized. The proposed active ruthe...
